Stand Out from the Crowd
Fat under our chin, or ‘double chin’, which can cause us to look heavier than we are, can be a frustrating area to address. Even for those of us who exercise and eat healthy, we may find that this stubborn area of chin fat simply won’t go away. Kybella for men may be the solution you’ve been looking for.
How Kybella for Men Works
Big news! Men get unwanted chin fat too! OK, maybe that's not news, but many men don't know that the same treatment we use for reducing chin fat on our female patents works on men too. Kybella for men can reduce or eliminate that unwanted chin fat and take years off your appearance.
Kybella contains a synthetic deoxycholic acid. Deoxycholic acid is a molecule which occurs naturally in our bodies and is responsible for breaking down fat. Injected into the fatty tissue under our chin, Kybella destroys the fat cells, resulting in a firmer, trimmer chin. Best of all, the body doesn’t create new fat cells to replace the ones destroyed by this treatment, so once your chin achieves the appearance you want, no further treatments will be needed.
Kybella is the #1 choice for chin fat removal.
How many sessions will I need?
This will depend upon how much fat you want to remove, and your body’s response to the treatment, as effectiveness will vary from one person to another. Our clinicians will discuss your goals with you, examine the area, and recommend a treatment plan. Treatments should be taken at least one month apart, and should not exceed more than 6 treatments.
How long does a session take, and how is Kybella administered?
Kybella is injected into multiple spots in the problem area, with each injection being quite small. A single session will usually take from 15 to 20 minutes, but may be longer depending upon how many injections you need to remove the fat and achieve your desired profile.
What are the possible side effects?
Most patients will not experience side effects other than those commonly associated with multiple injections such as minor soreness, swelling and bruising. Approximately 4% of those treated experienced resulting weakness in the facial muscles and 2% had trouble swallowing. In both cases, these side effects are temporary and will resolve themselves within a few days to several months.
