What You Should Know About the New Bio-Filler

Magnifiskin is now offering an organic, all-natural bio-filler called EZ Gel, by which your own blood becomes a filler that is injected back into your skin. As you know, our skin changes as we age due to lower levels of collagen, among other factors. Fortunately, there are several different effective fillers available to boost collagen production, but maybe you are looking for a more natural filler. Look no further, EZ Gel is all-natural.

Michelle Bachman, a leading Physicians Assistant at Magnifiskin, says, “I like EZ Gel because of its safety profile. You can put it in areas where you wouldn’t put filler. If you ever get into a blood vessel, there is no risk because part of your own blood is simply going back into your own blood.” Because EZ Gel is made from your own blood, there are no “no go” areas like there are with traditional fillers. For this reason, EZ Gel really bridges a gap between “spot-treating” and an all-over non-surgical facial treatment.

Not long ago, platelet rich plasma was the groundbreaking new way of boosting collagen. Blood was drawn from a patient, spun in a centrifuge so the platelets would separate from the blood, and then the platelet rich plasma was injected into the patient’s face, stimulating collagen production. This is known to be effective and has become mainstream in non-surgical skincare.

Then PRF, platelet-rich-fibrin, came on the scene. According to Dr. Karimi, a plastic surgeon who has pioneered PRF, “PRF is the next generation of PRP and contains very high concentrations [of] white blood cells, fibrin and a small amount of stem cells found circulating in our bloodstreams. PRF becomes a gel after 15 to 20 minutes of being isolated and immediately upon being injected into the face or body.”

For PRF, the process is like the one for platelet rich plasma, but after the blood is drawn and put into a centrifuge, the fibrin separates and sits on top of the rest of the blood. This is the “gel.” The practitioner moves it into a syringe and injects it into your skin.

EZ Gel contains rejuvenating qualities. The filler aspect lasts about three months and the rejuvenating part lasts six to twelve months. The real beauty of EZ Gel is that it can address areas that have been more difficult to address previously like hollowness in the cheeks and under eyes. It can address the sides of the mouth and labial folds. It is very effective for an all-over facial treatment, and it can be used in conjunction with other more traditional fillers.

Lastly, the cost of EZ Gel is a great price point. We are offering the tear trough area for $750 and the full face for $1500. If you want to discuss EZ Gel more to see if it is right for you, just give us a call and ask for a consultation and we can walk through whether this is something that is right for you.
